Extraordinary Service with a Smile!
Real estate is my second career. The first, spread across four decades in Corporate America, includes more than 15 years of global leadership responsibilities focused primarily in fourteen countries. My last two positions were as Chief Knowledge Officer for Electronic Data Systems (now an H/P company) and for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
As the owner of record for four patents in the field of knowledge management, I made those innovative techniques available to the Army Knowledge Management (AKM) system while serving as a consultant to the Office of the Army Chief of Staff.
I changed careers to real estate after moving to Hampton Roads to be closer to my daughters and their families. (I have six grandchildren!)
In my spare time, I've co-authored a book about a gifted Navajo artist, Quincy Tahoma of Santa Fe, who died prematurely of alcoholism in the 1950s (see Quincy Tahoma web site and the Tahoma Blog). The book was released in April of 2011 and will be carried by the Smithsonian Museum Store (National Museum of the American Indian), among others. I also dabble in photography, picking up an award from time to time, and take my therapy dogs, goldendoodle Yogi Bear and standard poodle Paisley, to visit folks in the hospital, nursing home and convalescent center.
I bring the same level of passion, creativity, energy and service orientation of the last 40+ years to my career as a real estate agent. As reflected in my motto, I aim to provide all my clients with the outstanding service they deserve. In order to do that, I've taken the extra steps to make sure I'm qualified to deliver on my promise.
Through special training and related experience, I now hold the following designations: ABR® (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist), SRES® (Senior Real Estate Specialist for 55+ clients), and e-PRO (technology proficiency).
I am licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and have been recognized by the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS® through membership in their Outstanding Salesmanship Club in 2006, 2007 and 2008. I was also selected as a 2011 Hampton Roads FIVE STAR real estate agent, an award given to only 7% of my colleagues. This award was based on overall satisfaction of clients, lenders, title companies and other real estate agents who worked with me in the buying and selling of homes.
So, if you're looking for a highly qualified, service-oriented real estate professional, I'm your gal! I'd be delighted to help YOU accomplish your real estate goals.
Charnell
PS: There are more than a thousand real estate agents serving the Hampton Roads area, and most of them would be ready, willing and able to assist you through the process of buying or selling a home. So why do I stand out in this crowded field? In a nutshell, my hallmark of outstanding service gets results! Visit the Testimonials web site page to see what some recent clients had to say...
